I remember Michael Kaplan had a post about an out-of-print book he wrote about Windows Unicode that was fetching hundreds of dollars for a used copy on Amazon.  If the problem was simple enough to be answered by a simple google search, you wouldn&#039;t see that.

I&#039;ve had similar experiences dealing with legacy COM issues-- thank god one of my coworkers kept the books.</description>
