I like complete silence when I’m trying to write something. When I’m creating HTML, or house cleaning, or some other repetitive task, I put on the likes of Metallica, Tool (yes John!), or Clutch. When I’m driving I like to listen to happy punk/ska like Reel Big Fish and Mustard Plug, otherwise I might rage someone off the road Another great article!

I highly recommend Tool if you have not listened (and I mean really listened) to them before.

Currently however I am listening to Ratt and have been known to listen to Disturbed.

Seduceme by La India, a romantic salsa. I’m a DJ in a latin club when I’m not programming, so I just listen to all my songs on shuffle, in case I hear something I’d not noticed before. I find songs with consistent beats easiest to code along to.

I used to find latin music easier than English because I didn’t understand the lyrics, but I can make a good stab at them now.
