SlickEdit Word Sudoku – December 2007

Word Sudoku is played the same way as traditional sudoku, only instead of 9 unique numbers the puzzle is solved using 9 unique letters. Those letters unscramble to spell out a familiar word for SlickEdit users. If you need a hint, you’ll find the unscrambled word in the solved sudoku puzzle.

Where Are All the Qualified Programmers?

Periodically I read articles claiming that there is a programmer shortage in the US. Bill Gates made that claim earlier this year. A quick search on Google turned up similar articles going back to 1998. Do we have a problem with too few programmers in this country? I contend that we do not.
